A lorry driver was killed in a huge rush hour pile-up including four cars, a tractor unit and his HGV this morning.
Police said the 56-year-old man from Thatcham, Berkshire died at the scene in Bracknell.
The accident sparked rush hour chaos with delays for other drivers and police have appealed for witnesses after the smash which happened at 8am this morning.
Anyone with dash-cam footage is also asked to come forward and the cause of the crash is not yet known.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses following a multi-vehicle collision in Bracknell in which very sadly a man has died.
He said: "Just after 8am an HGV was in collision with four cars and a tractor unit in Crowthorne Road between Ringmead and South Hill Road.
"Tragically, the driver of the lorry, a 56-year-old man from Thatcham, died at the scene. No-one else was seriously hurt in the incident."
Investigating officer Sergeant Matt Cadmore of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, in Taplow, Buckinghamshire said: "This collision occurred at a busy time of the day, and I am appealing to anybody who witnessed it to please make contact with police.
"I would also urge anybody who has dash-cam to please check this and contact us either on 101 or online.
"Tragically, a 56-year-old man died at the scene.
"His next of kin have been made aware and are being supported by specially trained officers at this time."
