HGV horror as lorry 'falls from flyover' on busy motorway

Cops have raced to a busy Scots motorway after a horror smash.

Emergency services were called to the crash on the A192 at around 7.20am on Thursday, November 4.

Officers are now at the scene near J10 on the M90.

According to eyewitness reports, a lorry was involved and crashed on the carriageway.

One motorist warned on social media this morning: "Anyone heading in or out of Perth at prison end, find another way.

"Lorry came off the flyover. Looks like it'll be shut a good while.

"Diversion going back road to Bridge of Earn."

Another said: "The l orry has come off the bridge onto the lower carriageway."

"AVOID Craigend/M90! Lorry has crashed through the barrier on the flyover and landed on the carriageway below", wrote one.

Detail on injuries are unclear so far/

The M90 remains closed on the slip road towards Broxden Roundabout.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to a crash on the A192 at approximately 7.20am.

"Officers attended the scene near junction 10 with the M90.

"Emergency services are in attendance and road closures are in place.
