Lorraine Kelly wants to be 'unleashed' post-watershed to share cheeky off air banter

Lorraine Kelly wants to be 'unleashed' post-watershed – so she can share the banter she has on her daytime show when the adverts are on.

The presenter says the chat she shares with regular guests such as Dr Hilary Jones when the cameras cut to commercial breaks is “unbroadcastable” before 9pm.

But she reckons their antics are so “hilarious’ it deserves an audience – even if it can only be screened when the children are in bed.

Lorraine, 61, says she fancies hosting an adults-only show.

She said: “I would love to do a late-night version of my show with the same experts such as Dr Hilary.

“Some of the chats we have when the adverts are on are hilarious and unbroadcastable.

"We’d call it ‘Lorraine: Unleashed’!’’

It is not the first time the straight-laced presenter has shown the potential to shock viewers.

In November, she when used the word “half-a****”to describe the public’s adherence to lockdown rules.

And last month, she was forced to apologise after Olympic skier and Dancing On Ice star Graham Bell said “s***” on her live show.

As the interview ended she said: “Sorry for that wee naughty word that slipped out from Graham there.’’
