GMB viewers were left cringing this morning after Lorraine Kelly 'threw some major shade' at Esther McVey.
Tory leadership candidate Esther was on the show to speak about her bid to become leader and outlined her policies.
After chatting to Esther, Piers and Susanna went to Lorraine to check what was coming up on her show next.
And that's when things got a little bit awkward.
Piers questioned Lorraine: "You remember Esther McVey from her GMTV days don't you?"
And Lorraine replied with pursed lips: "Yeah, yes I do."
Lorraine then continued telling people what was coming up on the show, but Piers cut back and said: "So you got on with Esther then Lorraine?"
And Lorraine shook her head and said: "I don't remember love, I don't remember at all, it was an awful long time ago."
And Piers replied: "Ooo if looks could kill I'd be six feet under."
Following the frosty exchange fans were left cringing but also confused and wanted to know what had happened between the pair.
One said: "You just know #lorraine has got something juicy on #EsterMcVey #gmb @piersmorgan we want answers."
Another said: "Hilarious now everyone loves Lorraine because she very obviously can’t Stand Mcvey."
A third said: "Good grief! First time I’ve ever known Lorraine Kelly to so clearly dislike anyone."
And a fourth added: "Wow, Lorraine threw some major shade at Esther McVey just then."
