Lorraine Kelly tells Harry and Meghan to 'stop' following new Netflix trailer

ITV's Lorraine Kelly has urged Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to 'stop' following the release of the trailer for their docu-series on Netflix.

The couple have sparked debates after the first instalment of their Netflix Series, Harry and Meghan aired last week. In three parts, the show shared how the pair met, fell in love and how they felt facing the media.

Harry and Meghan part two is set to be released on Thursday, December 15. It's expected to be an explosive telling of their relationship with Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales as the trailer contains a clip of Harry saying: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”

As per the Daily Record, Lorraine, 63, urged the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to let it go and move on once Prince Harry's memoir is released in the new year. Lorraine said although people are in two minds about Harry and Meghan’s series, she genuinely ‘wishes them the best’ but hopes there will be a line drawn soon.

Speaking on her ITV morning show, she told showbiz correspondent Ross King: "This has got to stop. Once this comes out on Thursday, once the book has come out...they can’t just keep talking about their families."

She continued: "They’ve got to then build their own lives…and for goodness sake they’ve got two gorgeous healthy children, they love each other very much, a beautiful big house.

"It’s like enough already, enough, enough!"

Lorraine also interjected in on the royal drama on Monday morning. She called Meghan's father Thomas Markle 'a silly man' for staging paparazzi photoshoots.

She said: "He was a silly, silly man. He was stupid and he should have answered her calls."

Moving on to speak about King Charles' coronation next year, Lorraine also added that it would be wrong for Harry and Meghan not to be invited if Prince Andrew gets an invitation.

peaking to royal editor Russell Myers on Monday, she stated: “Should they or shouldn’t they attend the coronation?

“A lot of people saying they shouldn’t but come on, if Prince Andrew is gonna be there. If dodgy heads of state, and you know how dodgy they are, if they’re gonna be there at the coronation - of course, they should be there. Surely?”

“It will be an interesting one to see if they do turn up,” royal correspondent Russell replied. “They should definitely get invited,” Lorraine responded.
