Lorraine Kelly takes home 18k after Jimmy Carr's game show win for Help For Heroes

Lorraine Kelly raised the impressive amount of £18,750 after winning Jimmy Carr's latest game show, I Literally Just Told you.

The ITV presenter took part in the game show on December 30 2021 where she impressed viewers with a number of lucky guesses on the show.

The charity, Help For Heroes, took to Twitter to thank Lorraine for her contribution following her appearance on the show.

Help For Heroes tweeted: "What an amazing start to the year as Patron @reallorraine won £18,750 on I Literally Just Told You hosted by @jimmycarr on 30th December and donated it to us! Thank you so much Lorraine!"

Lorraine responded to the praise: "Delighted to help such a brilliant organisation - thank YOU for all you do xxxx"

The broadcaster took part on the show before the new year as she competed against Alex Horne, Aisling Bea and Asim Chaudhry as they tried to win as much money as possible for their chosen charities.

Lorraine hilariously admitted to host Jimmy about how she handles her bad memory in work, by calling guests pet names if she can't remember their name.

Quizzed on how her memory is by the comedian, she admitted: "It's not wonderful. I've basically gotten to the stage now, I just call everybody 'flower' because I'm hopeless at people's names. I do forget people's names so yeah, that's what I do."

Lorraine then went on to explain that she uses names like flower, petal, love, gorgeous or angel to hide her bad memory.
