Lorraine Kelly might have said recently she loves a chippy down at the pub, but she swapped her favourite grub to try something a bit more upmarket on Saturday night.
Lorraine was out with her husband Steve and daughter Rosie, and her boyfriend James Bannister, at the Berkshire restaurant on Saturday night and made the most of the creative menu from the telly chef.
The diners appeared to enjoy one of Heston's tasting menus which is priced between £250-325 per person.
Lorraine recently revealed she enjoys fish and chips and pub grub and has been comfort eating during the pandemic.
She opted to try something a bit different at the weekend.
Heston's menu features delights including an Alice in Wonderland-inspired mock turtle soup involving a bouillon packet made up to look like a fob watch dissolved in tea.
An amused Lorraine and her family were also pictured tucking into a dish called Sound of the Sea, a fish dish served with tapioca sand, sea vegetables and a light sea foam –with a soundtrack of waves crashing and seagulls cawing whilst you eat it.
And she could be heard laughing with glee for one one of the sweeter dishes called Like A Kid In A Sweetshop which offers a selection of petit fours from the Victorian style 'sweetshop': including a white chocolate playing card.
Lorraine has been having a long summer holiday away from her morning show.
She confirmed that she will be due back on our screens on Wednesday September 1.
