Lorraine Kelly has shared another health update following surgery to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes.
The ITV presenter first revealed news of the procedure in a video from her hospital bed last week.
Now Lorraine, 65, has thanked fans for their concern and “well wishes”, saying that she hopes she is back to work soon.
She shared a sweet picture on Instagram with her grandchild Billie, who she said was “providing the best medicine ever with lots of cuddles for her granny”.
“Hopefully back to work on Monday,” she also shared.
Lorraine's daughter, Rosie Kelly, and Rosie’s partner, Steve White, welcomed Billie in August last year.
Previously speaking about the surgery, Lorraine told fans the procedure was done for “purely preventative” reasons.
“Just wanted to let you know I'm having a wee procedure today. I've not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out,” she said.
“It's purely preventative. It's going to be with keyhole surgery, which is incredible. I'm being very well looked after, and I'll obviously see you really soon, and I'm gonna be totally fine.”
Keeping her 576,000 Instagram followers updated, she wrote last Wednesday: “Thanx for all your lovely messages I'm recovering well.
“So proud of my top team – punching above our weight and bucking the trend. Just heard our ratings are up – we had the highest March for four years. Thanks @vixkennedy and the gang! Always know how to cheer me up”.
Kelly previously posted a photo from Heatherwood Hospital, where she had the operation, posing with medical staff and wearing a T-shirt in tribute to her late friend, campaigner Dame Deborah James.
In the post, she paid tribute to the “kind, caring, gorgeous professionals”, saying she “couldn’t thank the whole team enough”.
The operation, known medically as a laparoscopic bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, is often done to reduce the risk of ovarian cancer.
Since announcing the news, the broadcaster has been flooded with support, with Emma Willis writing: “Lots of love Lorraine” while Christine Lampard commenting a string of heart emojis.
Strictly's Amy Dowden wrote: “Sending lots of love” while Gaby Roslin commented: “Get well soon my darling. Big love”.
