Lorraine Kelly has sent a message to Cat Deeley as viewers heap praise on her stand-in host for this week.
Former SMTV star Cat is taking the reins on Lorraine's ITV daytime show over the Easter break and as she hosted her second show of the week on Tuesday, fans continued to delight in her presenting comeback, which comes weeks after her reunion with Ant and Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway for the return of CHUMS.
And Lorraine has also clearly been watching with interest as she tweeted Cat on Monday to say: "Top job. A delight to watch."
After a successful start on Monday, Tuesday's edition of Lorraine saw Cat once again joined by Doctor Amir Khan to react to Boris Johnson's latest lockdown briefing, as well as chatting to First Dates' Fred and close friend Louise Redknapp.
And viewers were once again loving her work, with one tweeting: "Absolutely love Cat's energy. Happy, smart, likeable and a welcomed addition to my morning viewing," and, in agreement, another reacted: "it’s so refreshing to have cat deeley back on our screens, love cat deeley her energy and she’s current, hopefully here to stay"
Following Monday's show, many called on ITV to give Cat a permanent job and on Tuesday, there were plenty calling for her to replace Lorraine on a full time basis, with one commenting: "Soo much better than lorraine ... give it to ‘The Cat’ full time !!!"
Wanting the same thing, another Cat fan posted: "Get #Lorraine off and #CatDeeley in. #itv is boring enough as it is with repetitive programmes each and everyday. Back to #bbc next week while Cat is off the TV"
