Lorraine Kelly issued a savage jibe to Caroline Flack this morning, after she quit Love Island yesterday.

Over the past few months Lorraine has become famous for her barbed comments towards Esther McVey and Jennifer Arcuri in particular.

She also took Piers Morgan he wasn't "chubby" anymore - causing him to say he'd been "Lorrained."

And today Caroline Flack was on the end of the Scottish presenter's wrath - reports the Manchester Evening News.

Caroline issued a heartfelt statement on her Instagram yesterday explaining she was stepping down from the hosting role she has held for the past five years.

Caroline said she didn't want to "detract attention" from the upcoming winter series, after she was charged with assault.

After the news broke speculation started to grow about who would replace her.

And today Lorraine said: "As Caroline Flack steps down from Love Island, we’ll be finding out who is set to replace her.

“Yeah, that’s showbiz.”

She added: “First, Andi Peters is here, he has joined us for the competition.”
