Lorraine Kelly red-faced after Scots innuendo has Susanna Reid in stitches

Lorraine Kelly left Good Morning Britain hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid in stitches with her cheeky Scots innuendo.

The hilarious moment came after Dr Hilary Jones was speaking to Richard and Susanna about whether or not it is safe to hug people again following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr Hilary said with the number of COVID-19 cases in the UK right now, he deems it unsafe to hug others but admits that 'it's about trust'.

Dr Hilary Jones carried on: "You can mitigate the hug, what I'm saying is be selective with the hugging."

The presenters then cut to Lorraine Kelly, who is asked for her opinion on the segment - but her cheeky comment left the studio in hysterics.

When asked about hugging the Scots presenter quipped: "Good morning to you. I'm Scottish we go all stiff."

After laughter erupts from Susanna, Lorraine continued: "Not in a good way, when anyone tries to hug us."

Still seeing the hilarity in her innuendo blunder, Lorraine continues laughing as she tells viewers what's to come up.

Susanna continues, "Oh Lorraine, I love it love it," before continuing on with GMB.

Good Morning Britain is available to watch weekdays from 6am on ITV.
