Lorraine Kelly has raved about the 'hilarious' new book by Scots Drag Race star Lawrence Chaney after getting a sneak preview this week.
The Scots daytime telly queen and the winner of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK have become firm friends since he burst onto the scene earlier this year.
They first met when Lorraine was a guest judge on the hit show and have stayed in touch.
The unlikely pair even jokingly referred to themselves as 'mother and daughter' at one point, when Lawrence appeared on Lorraine shortly after his rise to fame.
The new book, Drag Queen of Scots - The Dos and Don’ts of a Drag Superstar, is out this month, on September 23.
Lorraine urged others to buy it and said: "I’ve had a preview - hilarious, eye opening and very very honest. Congrats xxxx."
The book sees Lawrence celebrating his life growing up, including learning to sew at age seven before making his journey to drag.
The book will showcase valuable life lessons and tricks of the trade, all told in Chaney's trademark charming style.
