Lorraine Kelly rages at youths coughing at NHS staff 'I'd kick their a***s'

Lorraine Kelly penned a furious tweet in response to the news youths had been coughing in the faces of NHS workers amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The kindly TV presenter raged at the news and threatened if it wasn't for social distancing, she'd get physically violent with them.

Warrington Police tweeted: We have attended reports of a group of youths coughing at NHS staff stating they have Coronavirus.

"The youths will be prosecuted as will their parents.

Lorraine, 60, replied: "FFS - if it wasn’t for social distancing the toe of my foot would be sore kicking their sorry arses."

Lorraine's furious Twitter rant over the coughing youths attracted support from fans (Twitter)

Her followers agreed with the sentiment and replied slamming the offenders.

"A taser would suffice if only we were permitted to use one! Stay safe and well x," wrote one.

"What the hell is wrong with this world!" questioned another.

A third wrote: "You can do for all of us. We’d be cheering you on. This is crazy. What sort of mentality do these people have.

"Thankfully the overwhelming majority of us are: #ThankYouNHS. These clowns deserve everything they get."

Lorraine's show has merged with Good Morning Britain due to the coronavirus, and Bob Geldof appeared on the show earlier this week with a stark warning.

The Live Aid founder furiously demanded that people "get real" over the coronavirus outbreak and slammed the government for being "inept".

He said: "We have to get very serious here and very real. The Government has been at best inept, up to this point, and it’s messaging has been confused and all over the place.

"We need exactly what we should do and then we should immediately adhere to that if we want to see people being dead and I’ve seen a lot of dead people in my life and we will probably see much more in this country."
