Lorraine Kelly has praised Prince Harry for being honest about his mental health and for opening up about his personal experience with grief.
But while she applauded the prince for his honesty, the Scots TV presenter admitted that she felt 'sad' about the comments he has made about the Royal Family, as he continues to speak in different interviews about his time as a senior royal.
In his recent appearance in 'The Me You Can't See' with Oprah Winfrey, Harry speaks about his mental health and his struggles and talks openly about dealing with the loss of his mother Princess Diana at a young age after she died in a car accident in 1997.
Lorraine said by opening up in the new series, the 36-year-old was "doing a good thing".
In previous interviews, Harry made comments about his relationship with his family and his exit from his Royal duties alongside wife Meghan Markle, after they moved to the US with young son Archie.
Last week, Harry and US chat show host Oprah Winfrey released their Apple TV series The Me You Can't See.
Now, a bonus episode of the series saw the Duke of Sussex have an open chat with Zak Williams, the son of late actor Robin Williams.
Harry and Zak shared their own experiences of public grief after the loss of a parent, with Harry confessing he was unable to grieve for his mum.
He said: "When the scale of the problem is so big, so many people are like how can we help. But so many people who have suffered find healing in helping other people.
"Your father was a real hero of mine. He brought so much joy and entertainment to so many people.
"I think we have a lot of shared experience when you talk about that."
Harry went on: "When you see so many people grieving around the world grieving for someone they feel that they knew better than you did in a weird way because you are unable to grieve yourself.
"It's like 'how are you grieving more for someone who was my parent and I am unable to grieve myself?'."
After seeing the scenes, Lorraine commented: "See that is strange, you don't think about it from that point of view. It must be incredibly odd."
She added: "It's good. I don't agree with some of the things he said about his family, I think that's very sad.
"But he's doing a good thing, he's doing a good thing."
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV.
