Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes reunited on stage last month for a charity concert in aid of Stand Up to Cancer, organised by Tom who was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year.
The band thrilled fans as they spoke about how they plan to go on a huge arena tour in 2022.
However, Lorraine Kelly was in hysterics as she ended the interview with an apology after the excitement of the comeback led to a wardrobe malfunction.
She joked: "Listen, I'm so sorry. My top button popped with excitement,
"I'm so sorry about that. You young boys don't need that on a morning."
The camera panned back to Lorraine while she fixed the the button of her pink and black dress - and the band erupted into laughter.
Jay shot back: "I noticed. It's directly in my field of vision too."
Responding to Lorraine's comments, Tom joked: "We do! It's fantastic."
Jay, in a Scottish accent, added, “You’re a tonic!”
Lorraine was mortified after the incident and ended the interview with "thank you both" before correcting herself to thank all the members of the band.
Lorraine airs weekdays at 9am on ITV and ITVHub
