Lorraine Kelly accidentally confirmed that EastEnders star Maisie Smith is confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing - ahead of her big reveal just over an hour later on This Morning today.
The 60-year-old presenter had earlier confirmed that JJ Chalmers was the 7th confirmed contestant for the line-up.
But when speaking to BBC soap star James Bye, she appeared to forget that Maisie's name hadn't yet been announced on ITV.
After questioning the Martin Fowler actor on returning to Albert Square, she got onto the subject of Strictly.
Lorraine said: "Now look, everyone's talking Strictly right now and I know one of your co-stars Maisie, she's Tiffany of course, has signed for Strictly Come Dancing. Are you tempted, James? Is it something you'd ever think about?"
He replied saying: "Well, it's funny because while I was waiting to go on then and you were teasing who was going to go on Strictly I just got a text from my mum going, 'I thought you were going on Strictly!"
"That's brilliant," Lorraine giggled.
But viewers were distracted by the fact that Lorraine had appeared to confirm Maisie ahead of the official reveal.
One tweeted: "I didn't think that Maisie Smith had been confirmed for @bbcstrictly #lorraine."
While another commented: "Maisie wasn’t confirmed...until now #Lorraine! #Strictly."
A third wrote: "Well done James for practically confirming that Maisie Smith is joining #Strictly #lorraine."
