Lorraine Kelly lets rip at 'breathtakingly arrogant' Dominic Cummings in savage rant

Lorraine Kelly laid into Dominic Cummings into a brutal rant on Monday's Good Morning Britain.

Conservative MPs and furious members of the public have called for Boris Johnson's senior adviser to be given his marching orders by the Prime Minister after it emerged Cummings had travelled 260 miles to County Durham in March to self-isolate with his family while official guidelines warned against long-distance journeys.

The PM enraged millions of viewers at home after he publicly backed him while fronting Sunday's daily briefing but now Durham Police have been urged to launch an investigation into the numerous reported sightings of Cummings in the region, after it was reported that he didn't just visit the area once during lockdown.

And his behaviour has not gone down well with GMB host Lorraine. who was spoken to be main show presenters Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins on Bank Holiday Monday.

And after seeing a poll which suggested 80 per cent of GMB viewers want Boris Johnson to sack Mr Cummings, Lorraine launched into a huge rant, blasting: "It doesn't surprise me. Not at all.

"What I find really shocking about it is... no apology. The arrogance of it. The arrogance is breathtaking."

One viewer reacted: "Crikey even @reallorraine is critical of Dominic Cummings - she’s normally neutral on arguments giving both sides equal hearing but the fact she is so disgusted at Dominic Cummings not even offering an apology says how the nation is feeling today."
