Brian McFadden left Lorraine red-faced during his appearance on the ITV show on Friday.
The former Westlife singer, 41, teased the host over her family dog’s name as he claimed she stole his baby daughter’s name.
Brian, who recently became a proud dad to baby girl Ruby, explained that he had been keeping his little one’s name under wraps for as long as possible after his fiancée Danielle Parkinson gave birth back in May.
Although Brian decided he wanted to keep Ruby’s name private for as long as possible, Lorraine had other ideas when her family welcomed a brand-new pooch.
The TV host took to Instagram to announce that her daughter, Rosie, had brought home a new dog, and she lovingly named her Ruby – much to the horror of Brian.

When the singer logged on to see that Lorraine’s new pooch shared the same name as his daughter ahead of his big reveal, he worried fans would think he’d gotten name inspiration from Lorraine’s new family addition.
Poking fun at Lorraine during his appearance alongside former Boyzone singer Keith Duffy, Brian joked: “I can’t believe you called your dog Ruby and my baby’s name is Ruby.
“Lorraine, the baby was born and we didn’t tell anyone what the name was. And everyone was like ‘Oh, what’s the baby’s name?’ and we were like, “Oh, we’ll just wait’.
“And then I go onto Instagram and there you are with the dog, Ruby.”

Brian and Lorraine both erupted into a fit of laughter as the former Westlife star hid his head in his hands while recalling the hilarious situation.
“I thought everyone was going to think I named my child after Lorraine’s dog,” he joked.
“When you get your new dog, you’ll have to call it Lorraine,” Keith then quipped.
Brian and Danielle welcomed Ruby to the world back in May and called her arrival the ‘best week’ of their lives.

Baby Ruby is Brian's third child, but first with Danielle.
He also has two other daughters - Molly, 19, and Lilly-Sue, 18 - who he shares with the Atomic Kitten star Kerry, 40.
Proud parents Brian and Danielle have regularly been posting pictures on social media of their new tot meeting family members.

And the news of her arrival was even more special after the pair had previously revealed they had tragically suffered two miscarriages last year.
The pair announced they were expecting their first child together in November last year and Ruby was born on May 16, 2021.
