A stunned Lorraine Kelly branded Twiggy's age 'ridiculous' after finding it out on Good Morning Britain on Friday.
The model, who shot to fame in the 1960s, appeared as guest on GMB to talk about her successful podcast - Tea with Twiggy -which has seen her speak to big names like Joanna Lumley and Rufus Wainwright over the past few weeks.
Twiggy spoke about how the podcast came about and what else she'd been up to during lockdown but it was her age that left Lorraine and plenty of viewers at home in shock.
Lorraine asked Twiggy's permission to reveal her age, with Twiggy joking: "People have been writing about since the 60s!" but Lorraine could not believe that the British icon, real name Lesley Lawson, is now 70!
A modest Twiggy attributed her still youthful looks to facials every six months, pilates and spending time with her grandchildren.
On hearing that, Lorraine replied: "Well whatever you're doing it's working...doesn't she look amazing?! It's ridiculous!"
Viewers shared Lorraine's sentiments, with on tweeting: "Um excuse me how in the name of lord suffering Jesus Christ is Twiggy 70 years old please?! Doesn’t look a day older than 45 at a push. Speechless."
Another reacted: "Twiggy is 70 how did that happen?" and a third commented: "had she said 46, I'd believe her, she looks fabulous."
