Lorraine Kelly swears during live Jason Donovan chat leaving viewers gobsmacked

Lorraine Kelly shocked viewers on Tuesday morning when she swore during an interview with Jason Donovan.

The 61-year-old welcomed the Australian singer into the ITV studio to discuss his latest ventures, including an upcoming tour.

"During Covid, a lot of people have been taking up different hobbies," Lorraine said to him.

"You've been painting but we share the joy of swimming, wild water swimming, isn't it great?" she asked. "It actually makes you feel alive."

"It feels fantastic, it gets rid of a hangover!" Jason replied as a clip of Lorraine swimming was shown onscreen.

"Oh gosh, there's me and Angus look! There's my wee dog!" she commented.

Jason then said: "Lorraine, I didn't realise that I was actually going to see pictures of you swimming, which is fantastic! What month of the year was that?"

"That was last month," she answered, before adding: "I did do it last November in Scotland though."

"And how was that?" Jason asked as she bluntly replied: "Bollocking! It was really cold!"
