Lorraine Kelly is unrecognisable in old family holiday picture with daughter

Lorraine Kelly looked unrecognisable as she shared a heartwarming throwback photo from 26 years ago on holiday in Scotland with her daughter.

The Scots presenting legend took to Instagram to share the family snap and looked worlds away from her usual glamorous ITV persona.

In the photo, Lorraine sported a short dark hairstyle and went make-up free as she cradled her three-month-old daughter Rosie, now 26, on their first holiday as a family in Port Appin, Argyll.

Lorraine captioned the post: "Our first holiday - glorious Port Appin. The Pier House. Feels like yesterday You were 3 months old."

Fans were quick to comment on the sweet throwback, with one branding it 'precious'.

One fan wrote: "They grow up too quickly don't they Lorraine."

Another commented: "I feel the same , time passes so quickly."

A third wrote: "Such a precious photo Lorraine."

It comes as Lorraine took no prisoners as she ripped apart celebrities who have flouted coronavirus rules, telling them to 'go f**k themselves' on air.

The Scots ITV legend let those who broke the rules know what she really thinks during an appearance on Channel 4 Show The Last Leg.

Lorraine turned the air blue much to the shock of co-hosts Adam Hills, Josh Widdicome and Alex Brooker.

Dressed in sparkly red dress and tiara, the 61-year-old address the nation in a mock Queen's speech.

She scolded those who had spent 2020 'flying to other side of the world to spend two weeks in a five-star hotel with 24 hour room service and stunning views w***ing yourself stupid."

The comment led to roars of cheers from the virtual audience with regular host Adam Hills holding his hands up in horror.

An undeterred Lorraine went on: "To all of us that sacrificed so much this year - I wish you a very merry Christmas and prosperous 2021.

"Unless of course you are a celebrity who broke the rules of lockdown in that case you can go f*** yourself," she scathed to yet more applause and cheer.
