Lorraine Kelly is furious after revealing she's been hacked and a scam has been sent to her friends from her personal email address.
When the presenter and TV star kicked off her show by talking to Ross King in Los Angeles via video link, he revealed he had received a weird message from her this morning.
"I'm used to getting emails from you, usually they are quite rude," Ross jokingly admitted.
"I got one this morning...but the way it was written I went 'this doesn't sound like my Lorraine'."
Lorraine then went on to reveal she had indeed been hacked and a bogus scam email asking for an iTunes voucher has been sent to her contacts.
"I've been hacked and it's so annoying because I'm a technophobe," Lorraine said.
Part of the email reads: "Am sorry for bothering you with this mail, I need to get an iTunes gift card for my Niece, It's her birthday but I can't do this now because I'm currently travelling...Can you get it from any store around you? I'll pay you back as soon as i am back."
Lorraine then shared that people are helping her secure a new email address and urged anyone who has received this email to ignore it.
"The fantastic geeks geeks here are helping me out but it's so annoying Ross when you're hacked and it's really embarassing.
"Could everybody who knows me, you might have got an email this morning, ignore, just ignore that.
"And ignore anything subsequently that is on that email address. I'm going to change my email address and send it out to everybody.
"So yeah, I'm sorry."
