Lorraine Kelly downs shots on boozy day out in pub garden with lookalike daughter

Lorraine Kelly was among the countless celebrities celebrating lockdown restrictions easing this week.

The TV presenter, 61, did her bit to support the hospitality industry as she downed shots in a beer garden with daughter Rosie after pubs reopened in England.

Lorraine did not waste time drinking a bright green shot with her 26-year-old daughter who shared the clip on Instagram.

It seems as though the pair had an incredible time out on the first day after lockdown as they were joined by Rosie's boyfriend.

In the short clip, Lorraine downed the shot - which appeared to be a strong one - as she dramatically reacted to the alcohol.

The post, which Lorraine later shared to her own story read: "Happy pubs are open day!"

"Oh my!" she exclaimed after drinking it in a packed Belgravia pub.

Documenting the meet-up with a selfie, she wrote: "The pubs are OPEN! With @rosiekellysmith and @jamesbannister #horseandgroom."

Lorraine has been enjoying a two week Easter break and last week SMTV live presenter Cat Deeley took over the morning show hot seat.

Fans rushed to the comments section of the post to praise Lorraine for always "keeping it real".

"Lorraine keeping it real no filters. Bl**dy marvellous and refreshing," one fan wrote.

Another penned: "Cheers, you all deserve a drink," while a third added: "Let's start getting the rounds in."

Lorraine - who shares Rosie with her husband of 28 years, Steve Smith - was recently reunited with her girl after lockdown kept them apart.

The Scottish TV presenter was left heartbroken as she was unable to see Rosie for so long, after she returned from working in Singapore.

Lorraine said at the time she'd been in touch with Rosie via video calls, but added “there’s nothing like being able to give your child a cuddle".

”Every mother will know what I’m saying – there’s just nothing like the smell of your child’s hair. Rosie always smells so good.”

The star finally reunited with Rosie recently, and continued to tell MailOnline: “I’m trying not to be too teary, because I don’t want to embarrass her, but being able to hold her after all that time was just fantastic."
