Scottish star Lorraine Kelly was wasting no time as she met up with daughter as beer gardens reopened down south.
The smiling breakfast TV host posted a snap on Instagram of her knocking back a shot to celebrate the occasion.
A laughing and joking Lorraine looked like she was enjoying every bit of a well-earned break for the Easter holidays as Ranvir Singh takes over the morning couch.
That was up until the after-taste of her chose tipple, as she grimaces while holding the empty glass.
The Daily Record reports how a post shared by Lorraine read: "Happy pubs are open day!"
As the 61-year-old emptied the glass, she screwed her face up and said: "Oh my!!"
English pubgoers have been enjoying their first pints in months as outdoor hospitality was given the green light to reopen from today.
Lorraine's lookalike daughter Rosie posted a video of her mum on Instagram as she downed a green coloured shot while sat in the Horse and Groom beer garden.
Lorraine also took to her Instagram story to share a snap to mark the occasion.
She wrote: "The pubs are OPEN! with @rosiekellysmith and @jamesbannister #horseandgroom."
"Enjoy, ladies!"
Lorraine has been enjoying a two week Easter break and last week SMTV live presenter Cat Deeley took over the morning show hot seat.
Her return will marked 14 years since the 43-year-old host has had a major UK telly gig since moving to the US in 2006.
In a statement, Cat said: “Lorraine has kindly entrusted me with her show while she has a break over Easter.
“I’m so happy to be back at ITV for the coming week and looking forward to meeting some people I’ve wanted to interview for some time and also welcoming some old friends on air.”
