Lorraine Kelly has called Dominic Cummings' behaviour "shameful" and 'annoying' as she hit out at his 'disgraceful' interview with the BBC regarding his job at Downing Street.
The Prime Minister's former aide said that Boris Johnson didn't treat the coronavirus threat “seriously” initially.
Dominic also claimed that hr had to dissuade the Prime Minister of visiting The Queen face to face just before March 2020, when there was a national lockdown, advising him that he could give her Covid-19 and potentially kill her.
ITV presenter Lorraine was annoyed by Dominic's hour long chat with the Beeb and took to Twitter to tell of her disgust.
She wrote: "Cummings smirking virtually all the way through this interview was shameful and very very very annoying.
"What a disgraceful shambles. A parcel of rogues."
Lorraine was not alone on her outspoken views as former GMB presenter Piers Morgan also compared Dominic to Hannibal Lecter in Silence of The Lambs, posting two pictures of them alongside one another.
Piers asked: "Who would you feel safer employing? #Psychos."
In the interview Dominic admitted he thought Boris Johnson was 'terrible for the country' and wanted to remove him as prime minister after the Conservatives won the general election in 2019.
He also said that Boris said in September that it was mainly older people who were dying and that he “no longer bought all this NHS overwhelmed stuff”, as figures rose.
Number 10 said Boris had “taken the necessary action to protect lives and livelihoods, guided by the best scientific advice”.
Lorraine's followers agreed with her upset with one saying: "Evil man acting like a jilted girlfriend."
Another added: "What a superb description ‘ parcel of rogues’ sums them all up brilliantly!! Not a parcel that I would wish to receive either!!"
Another said however: "BoJo smirks his way through interviews too! Wonder who smirked first?"
