Lorraine Kelly accused of having 'affair' by GMB hosts after live phone blunder

Lorraine Kelly has faced accusations of an 'affair' after a mobile phone blunder.

The presenter's mobile started ringing live on air while she was previewing her show on Good Morning Britain.

Piers asked: "Are you doing any features on phones accidentally going off in the middle of teases, or not??

Red-faced Lorraine admitted: "See I knew you would hear that. I was trying to fiddle about with it to turn it off."

Wanting answers, Susanna asked who was calling and Lorraine revealed it was a mysterious old school pal named Stuart Harris.

Susanna joked: "Was he phoning to say 'I’ve just seen you on the television'?

Lorraine explained that she had her phone on as she was talking to her daughter Rosie.

Digging deeper, Piers then asked: "How many of your old male friends from school call you at 8.07 in the morning out of interest?"

Giggling Lorraine claimed "quite a few" did as she tried to move on from the incident.

The presenters called out some hashtag ideas, including "#FriendsReunited" and "#Stu&Lorraine".

Lorraine then caused more shock by revealing that Stuart was "coming over later".

"I bet he is," replied stunned Piers.

Hinting at a romance, Susanna started singing: "Stuart and Lorraine sitting in the tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G."

Lorraine replied: "No we never did that. Did we? No we didn't."
