Lorraine viewers got a surprise on Friday when a guest dropped a very strong hint that it wasn't Ant and Dec who were behind all the weird goings on during ITV shows earlier this week.
Fans of Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women were left wondering if they were imagining things on Monday when the hosts of each displayed some very odd behaviour.
First up was Lorraine, who apologised to guest star KSI for there being "mice in the studio," before telling him she wished he could rub her leg as she had cramp and accused him of "mugging" her off with answers to questions on Celebrity Bake Off.
Things then got even more bizarre during a cookery demonstration on This Morning when Holly Willoughby told chef James Martin she needed a wee, before getting out of her seat to go in search of salt and ranting him over what toppings she could have on top of choux buns.
The prank didn't end there either as at one point on Loose Women, panellist Judi Love jumped out of her seat, saying there was a mouse in the studio, before co-star Jane Moore complained of cramp and host Charlene White was rather abrupt with guest Emily Atack.
Both Lorraine Kelly and Loose Women host Ruth Langsford told fans the day after that "all will be revealed" later in the week, well it looks like Lorraine's entertainment guru Ria Hebden has let the cat out of the bag and it wasn't Ant and Dec who were responsible.
Teasing what was ahead on this weekend's Saturday Night Takeaway on Friday's show, she said: "There will be lots of surprises.
"We'll finally find out what mischief Stephen Mulhern has been up to.
"You might have seen he's been making a few surprises across all the ITV daytime shows."
Stephen himself is staying tight lipped on the matter. He did tweet on Friday morning but only to say: "Hello all, hope you have a lovely day today!"
But viewers were quick to address the ITV high jinks, with one posting: "So Mondays itv thing in the morning was Stephen mulhern. Knew it wasn't Ant & Dec. There's would have been fair funnier. Not the same thing repeated. 3 presented getting cramp. leave it to the professionals. (And I like Stephen)"
And another tweeted: "it was hardly original and everyone involved couldn't keep quiet n all had same phrases so don't say its gonna be amazing when its not."
