Lorraine apologises as Dancing on Ice Graham Bell swears live on air

Lorraine Kelly was forced to apologise on today's show after Dancing on Ice star Graham Bell swore live on air.

Graham appeared on the show after leaving the ITV competition last night.

As the interview started Graham admitted that he was hungover after downing bottles of wine and bingeing A Discovery of Witches as he got home from the studio.

Graham said he was disappointed to leave the show and thought that he and his partner performed well on the night.

Former Olympic skier Graham told Lorraine about his previous antics at the Olympics and related how he once scaled a flag pole.

He said: "I climbed up the pole to untie the flag and as I looked down my friends had been replaced by armed police and I just thought 's**t'."

Lorraine gasped as Graham said the swear word but continued with the interview as Graham vowed to keep ice skating.

As the interview ended Lorraine apologised and said: "Sorry for that wee naughty word that slipped out from Graham there."

And viewers were quick to pick up on the blunder.

Tom James Clark said: "Just turned on my TV to Graham Bell saying a swear word on Lorraine."
