Loris Karius is set to stay on loan at Besiktas next season.
The Liverpool goalkeeper is midway through a two-year loan deal with Besiktas but the deal looked set to be cut short earlier this season.
Karius was heavily criticised by manager Senol Gunes and had to ask FIFA to take action over unpaid wages.
But the dispute was resolved and Karius is settled in Istanbul and looks set to remain in Turkey for another season at least.
Speaking after the penultimate game of the season, the 25-year-old said: "I think that if all parties are happy and satisfied, I will continue. My contract with Besiktas continues.”
Besiktas have an obligation to buy Karius for a further £7.25m at the end of next season, having paid an initial £2.25m for the loan deal.
The move will be made permanent if certain performance criteria are met related to appearances and European qualification.
Liverpool will also have a sell on clause of 20 percent if the deal is made permanent.

Liverpool are likely to be on the lookout for a back-up option to the Brazilian, with Simon Mignolet tipped to move on.
The Belgian is eager to secure first-team football next term after dropping down to second-choice under Jurgen Klopp.
Bournemouth are one of a number of clubs interested in Mignolet.
