(Reuters) - Lorenzo weakened into a category 3 hurricane in the Atlantic but is expected to remain a powerful hurricane through the weekend, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Friday.
The Atlantic hurricane is located about 1,575 miles (2,535 km) south-west of the Azores, clocking maximum sustained winds of 125 miles per hour (205 km/h), the Miami-based weather forecaster said in its latest advisory.
