Lorenzo Brino dead: 7th Heaven child star dies aged 21 in car crash

Lorenzo Brino, star of 7th Heaven, has died at the age of 21.

The former child star was killed when he lost control of his Toyota before it crashed into a pole, reports TMZ.

The incident occurred on March 9 in San Bernardino, California, but Brino's name was only confirmed today.

The young actor was best known for playing Sam Camden in 90s drama series 7th Heaven.

Following the tragic news of his death, Lorenzo's aunt, Janet Brino, took to social media to pay tribute.

"To my dear sweet nephew, your loss left a hole in my heart. God needed another Angel and he took you," she wrote.

"Please watch over your mom and dad.  You sister Mimi, brothers, Antonio, Zachary and Nicholas ... You got a big job up there."

Lorenzo starred in TV drama 7th Heaven alongside his three siblings Nikolas, Myrinda and Zachary.

The show focused on the lives of an American family who lived in the fictional town of Glenoak, California. It debuted in August 1996 and ran for eleven seasons.

Lorenzo and his brother were cast for their roles when they were just five months old and played Sam and David Camden between them until 2001.

After that Lorenzo and Nikolas continued to play the both roles between the two of them.

Sptehn Dulay wrote: "From September 21st-March 9th 2020 we were blessed to have Lorenzo Brino’s Beautiful soul in our lives.

"The amount of people he touched with his character and charm was unbelievable.

He was a loyal friend and an amazing brother. He would always get my back no matter what. Rest In Peace Brother," he added.
