Fans of The Apprentice are set to be disappointed after Lord Sugar announced the show won't be returning to our screens this year.
The popular BBC reality business contest has had to be pushed back yet again due to Covid, with the show originally set to air last July.
The 16th series was expected to return this summer after Lord Sugar had admitted he was disappointed that the show couldn't be filmed in 2020.
But the pandemic has once again scuppered his ideas, meaning viewers will have to wait a little bit longer to hear him utter the famous words "you're fired" once more.
Lord Sugar, 74, has told The Sun that the new plan is to resume filming by the end of the year.
He said: "If things go well, and there’s no outbreaks or third waves, we’re planning to start recording later this year and it should be just after Christmas that they’ll start it again.”
And the Amstrad founder has confessed that he won't put up with any budding entrepreneurs who aren't prepared to work for success.
The business magnate admits he has been angered by work-shy millennials and the work from home culture that has developed during the pandemic.
He added: "There isn’t any hunger any more and a lot of people are searching for a cushy job, the cushier the better.
"I’ve seen this in some of our companies where we’re losing staff because they think, ‘Bloody hell, he actually wants me to work. I think I’ll go to Google where it’s one big party. Bloody cheek’.
"That’s the attitude we’re seeing at the moment. They have to keep me away from these people because it infuriates me."
He shared his thoughts that some people like to work while others just shirk their responsibilities and said he'll soon find out who is who when the new series begins.
Lord Sugar also told how previous winner Carina Lepore's bakery business had suffered during lockdown, but insisted if winners run out of his money, they don't receive any more.
