The series is based on JRR Tolkein’s fantasy novels which have spotted two wilding successful film franchises that have gone on to enjoy massive acclaim.

Production on the show will begin next year and will be coming to Amazon Prime Video, Edinburgh Live reports

The eye catching casting call is seeking anyone who fits the bill with "an overbite, face burns, long skinny limbs, deep cheekbones, lines on your face, acne scars, ears that stick out, bulbous or interesting noses, small eyes, big eyes, skinny faces or missing bones".
