Lord Mayor of Dublin trolls Mayor of Kerry ahead of GAA All-Ireland Football Final with '5' letter

The Mayor of Dublin will not be a fan favourite down in the Kingdom this week following his letter to the Mayor of Kerry.

Paul McAuliffe penned a trolling welcome to Niall Kelleher ahead of the All-Ireland Football Final between their two counties.

The Dublin Mayor invited Niall and his wife to stay at The Mansion House that weekend but we're not sure if he'll be so quick to accept his offer.

There was a lot of "typos" in the Mayor's letter where some of the letters were magically turning into the number '5'.

He wrote: "Dear Niall. There i5 5ure to be plenty of banter between your kingdom and my city ahead of the men'5 All-Ireland Football Final.

"But banter a5ide, we are a city of welcom5 and it would be my plea5ure to have you and your wife 5tay a5 our gue5t'5 in the Man5ion Hou5e that weekend. P.S. 5orry about all the typo5.

Paul cheekily tagged Niall in the picture of the letter on Twitter but the Mayor of Kerry has yet to respond.

Maybe he'd prefer for his county to do the talking on the pitch...

Dublin face Kerry in Croke Park on September 1. The Dubs are heading for their fifth Sam Maguire in a row while Kerry are hoping to get their hands on the trophy for the first time since 2014.
