There's only a small amount of time left for the public to nominate hospital services staff for the monthly Lord Mayor's Awards.
This year's Lord Mayor Awards, which are usually an annual event, are taking place monthly to recognise all frontline workers who have worked tirelessly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The month of December is for Hospital Services Staff and the deadline for nomination is this coming Wednesday, December 16.
At the end of each month the Lord Mayor will decide the winner and present them with the award, a piece of specially-commissioned sculpture and a gift voucher worth €1,000.
The Lord Mayor’s Awards have been running since 1989 and are Dublin City’s way of acknowledging and congratulating individuals and groups who have made a special contribution to both Dublin and its citizens.

- Nursing Home Staff & Volunteers (October)
- Transport Staff (November)
- Hospital Services Staff (December)
- Retail Staff (January)
- Emergency Services Staff (February)
- Hospital Medical Staff (March)
- Community Workers and Volunteers (April)
