Loose Women viewers issue plea to Ruth Langsford after debuting new look

Loose Women viewers were quick to comment as Ruth Langsford debuted a new look.

The TV presenter was back on the panel of the ITV show alongside Coleen Nolan, Janet Street-Porter and Jane Moore.

With resident red-head Janet on the panel, Ruth revealed that new study suggested red-heads have more romantic relationships than those with any other hair colour.

After coming back from a break, Ruth welcomed viewers to the show as she swished her new bob from side to side.

"Welcome back to Loose Women," she said. "It's me," as she struck a few poses for the camera.

"You look gorgeous," Coleen said who was donning a bright red, longer-length wig.

"I quite like this colour," Ruth added before Coleen interjected: "I've ended up with that," as she pointed at the hair.

Ruth turned to Janet and said: "I'm channeling a bit of you today I think."

"Are you taking that wig home to Eamonn," Janet asked to which Ruth responded: "I think he quite likes a red-head, Eamonn."

Coleen added: "I'm telling you now you look absolutely stunning."

And Loose Women viewers were in agreement with Coleen and made a plea to Ruth.

"Ruth looks incredible with ginger hair. Please keep it, Ruth!! We need another ginger representative," tweeted one.

Another said: "OMG Ruth Langsford with red hair is a LOOK! She looks so much younger."

"Loose Women girls should all take a trip to the hair salon to dye their hair red. It looked gorgeous on them all," a third added.

A fourth surprised viewer shared: "Nearly spat out my tea when I saw her on my telly. In fairness she looked great in it."
