Loose Women viewers shocked as stars compare their private parts to cat breeds

The stars of Loose Women had viewers aghast as they compared their intimate parts to different breeds of cat.

The eye-opening chat came as the panel discussed a quirky new smear test campaign.

A series of adverts show a bald sphinx cat alongside fluffier breeds in attempt to shake off the embarrassment some women might feel about how groomed their body is.

This promoted the panel - Stacey Solomon, Nadia Sawalha, Judi Love and Kaye Adams - to then launch into a chat about their own intimate areas.

"Which pussycat are you most like," Nadia asked her co-stars.

Kaye, 58, said the hairless feline in middle looked 'disturbingly familiar' to her.

While Nadia, 56, said she did not agree for the trend for women to be 'bald.' Newly-engaged Stacey, 31, agreed and declared she has let her 'bush grow out.'

"I'm a bit taken aback to be perfectly honest," said Kaye of the campaign. "Would that bother you? I'm in the mangy moggy category now. I'm over it."

Viewers at home were left stunned by the candid chat and took to Twitter to ask if it was an appropriate lunchtime topic.

"I don’t need to hear about your hairy f*****s!" cried one in disgust.

"I don't remember asking if Stacey etc had a bush or not! It wasn't about that!'" said another.

While others commented that it was good to see the topic of smears tests being openly discussed on ITV daytime.
