Loose Women viewers 'cringe' throughout 'strange' Nicole Kidman interview

Loose Women viewers were left 'cringing' throughout an interview with Nicole Kidman.

The Hollywood actress appeared on Tuesday's edition of the ITV show but due to travel and filming restrictions surrounding she appeared from her home in America via video link.

This also meant that the interview was pre-recorded.

The segment showed Loose Women presenters Nadia Sawalha, Linda Robson, Janet Street-Porter and Stacey Solomon each ask Nicole a question from the studio and their homes.

She was on the show to discuss new show The Undoing but she was mainly quizzed on motherhood and her co-star Hugh Grant.

But viewers took to Twitter to talk about how 'strange' it all was.

One wrote: "Did anyone else witness the very strange Nicole Kidman interview on #LooseWomen I’ve never cringed so much were they trying to act or?"

"Sorry but what in the ITV daytime hell was that scripted zoom call with Nicole Kidman #LooseWomen," another said.

Each panelist asked a question - some from the studio and some from their homes (ITV)

A third added: "Cracking up at this ridiculous ‘chat’ between Stacey, Nadia, Janet and Nicole Kidman."

"OMYGOD this Nicole Kidman segment is PURE cringe #LooseWomen," commented another.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.

A final comment read: "Do they really expect us to believe they’re having an actual conversation? Cringe."
