Loose Women star Saira Khan says trolls have forced her off Twitter .
The television personality made each of the panelists think twice about expressing their views.
Saira admitted that she feels the Loose Women have been forced to censor themselves – because they are relentlessly trolled on social media when they are too outspoken.
Since the ITV show began in 1999, Loose Women such as Saira, Coleen Nolan and Stacey Solomon have become well known for speaking their minds.
But Saira, 49, today admitted that she feels 'sad' due to the fact she has to 'think' about what she speaks about.

The Loose Women regular continued that she holds back in what she openly speaks about because she's aware she may get trolled online.
Saira explained: "It’s really sad that we feel we have to do this but we have to really think about what we’re saying.
"Sometimes I’ll say, ‘I can’t say that’ because I know I’ll get trolled.
"What I want to say is what I believe and I want other people to tell me what they think without being nasty or personal.

"But we can’t now, we’re so measured now about how we say things."
Saira decided to come off Twitter this year because she found it too “toxic”.
She said: "I just thought it was a nasty place. I’m in an industry where they check your followers before they give you a job.
"If you don’t think people will warm to me then don’t give me a job.

"But I’m not going to put myself in a toxic environment, full of hypocrisy, full of people who only want you to say what they want to hear."
Saira has a new role with Operation Smile, which provides surgery for children born with a cleft lip.
She said: "Even fronting this charity, I can tell you there will be people saying, ‘Why should we give money abroad?’.
"We’re one of the richest countries in the world. Surely we can offer generosity.

"For me, that’s what we should be using our love and humanity for."
Saira supports Operation Smile’s First Women’s Mission to Oujda, Morocco, next month.
In 2005, Saira was the runner-up of The Apprentice.
From 2012 to 2017, Khan co-presented The Martin Lewis Money Show and in 2015, she presented the ITV series Guess This House.
She is currently a panelist on Loose Women and competed in Celebrity Big Brother 18.
