Andrea McLean was in tears as she made the shock announcement that she's moving on to new things and leaving ITV lunchtime show Loose Women after 13 years.
The 51-year-old presenter couldn't help but have a cry as she announced her decision to her co-hosts, OK! reports.
Fighting back emotion, she dabbed at her eyes with a tissue as she explained: "It was a really, really big decision to jump to see if I fall or fly.
"And I just thought, 'I will never know unless I try.'
"So, I'm saying good bye to Loose Women."
She clarified that she wasn't actually leaving Loose Women today but just that she was making the announcement now.
She said she will continue hosting the ITV show "until at least Christmas" before she tries her hand at something different.
And Andrea said she will not be turning her back on the TV industry.
It prompted Loose Women to tweet: "Andrea shared some very emotional news with the Loose Women. The whole Loose family is sending her so much love."
On person replied: "Going to miss you Andrea," while another added: "Andrea is my fave, she will be missed."
Another added: "We'll miss you Andrea. Hope you come back one day."
