A visibly disgusted Ruth Langsford was forced to issue a warning to Loose Women viewers on Tuesday, as the show aired footage of disgraced social media star Andrew Tate.
The former Big Brother star is now behind bars in Romania, having been detained, along with his brother Tristan in Ilfov, an area north of the country's capital, Bucharest, as the result of a a human trafficking rape an organised crime investigation. His arrest came just days after a highly publicised spat with climate change pioneer Greta Thunberg on Twitter.
The 36-year-old addressed Greta, 19, in a tweet which read: "Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions," to which she replied with one of the most liked tweets in Twitter history, writing: "yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld**kenergy@getalife.com.”

Tate's controversial and highly misogynistic TikTok videos have amassed over 13 million views, with Ruth, having moments earlier said the segment on him was 'something every parent needs to know about,' explaining: "In them, he describes hitting and choking women, trashing their belongings, stopping them from leaving the house and describes them as, his words, his 'property.'"
Prior to showing what she described as some of 'the more tame' videos posted by Tate, who she described as the 'king of toxic masculinity,' the Loose Women star added: "Please be warned that some people may find these offensive."
At the start of the show, Ruth made the alarming comment that boys as young as seven were being 'conditioned' to believe in Tate's views, with one of his videos showing him give an interview where he said: "The whole world agrees that the woman belongs to the man when she decides to give herself to the man."
In another, he remarked: "The idea of living life as a female, there's no conquest. What do you do? You get a guy, maybe you get some nice meals and a handbag," and in a third he said: "Females like men who are completely in charge and run their life exactly how they want," with the videos prompting audible groans from the studio audience.
