Fans of Loose Women took to Twitter to share their shock when they saw that Ruth Langsford had a new fiery hairstyle.
Loose Women cut back from a break to see Ruth donning the new do.
She appeared alongside panellists Coleen Nolan, who was also wearing a wig, and natural red-head Janet Street-Porter.

The purpose behind the hairpiece was a discussion regarding a new statistic that suggested red-heads are more romantic than any other people with different hair colours.
In the segment, named: "Do gingers have more fun?" Ruth said: "I quite like this colour."
Fellow presenter Coleen complimented her friend, saying: “I’m telling you now, you look absolutely stunning.”
While the hairstyle isn't permanent, most viewers thought the style really complimented Ruth and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

Debbie posted: "Loving your hair Ruth! Looks fab!"
Another user shared: "Perfect colour highlights Ruth #LooseWomen."
However, not everyone was a fan as one user said: "Someone fix Ruth’s hair."
