Loose Women's new panelists spark calls for major overhaul

Loose Women viewers were keen for some new panelists to stay for good after today's show.

The ITV chat show has been praised over the last few days as a major shakeup has been well received by fans. In support of Mental Health Awareness Month, the panel has been welcoming male presenters for the first time in history.

Business tycoon Stephen Bartlett joined television personality Mark Wright for today's show as they covered topics including male health and long-distance relationships. Ruth Langsford and Frankie Bridge made up the second half of today's hosts but it was the boys that went down a hit with fans as viewers were quick to compliment their fresh approach and views on issues.

One viewer said: "It’s such a shame that @ITV has only made the #LooseWomen spin off #loosemen just for mental health awareness month not full time. The show needs a shake up and gender swap spin off that lasts longer than one month. #changetheindutry #spinoffidea."

Another added: "It's good to see LW mixing it up today & including men on the show. In recent years conversations have become dull & repetitive."

A third viewer said they felt the show has become much better with the male additions. They said: "Sat watching #loosewomen before I head out can we please replace it with loose man please because how much better would it be."

For their first male inclusive special, it was an all-men panel with Vernon Kay, Mike Tindall MBE, Roman Kemp and Johannes Radebe taking over the show.
