Loose Women's Linda Robson checked into rehab after breakdown on Ibiza holiday with co-stars

Loose Women panellist Linda Robson has revealed the heartbreaking details of her breakdown which came to a head on a holiday to Ibiza with her co-stars.

Birds of a Feather actress Linda opened up about her struggles as she, Kay Adams, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards raised concerns for Kanye West after a string of troubled tweets posted on his Twitter account over the past few days, following his worrying appearance at a campaign rally as he launched his bid to become US President.

Linda's breakdown happened in the summer of 2018 and she revealed: "I just wanted to black out what I was feeling. I couldn't get through the day without taking medication and drinking.

"I stayed in the room, I couldn't go out and socialise with you lot.

"Nadia and Stacey go in touch with my family. I came home early and went straight to...I'm not going to say the name of the place, but my family all met me there.

"They felt bad as they didn't know what I was going through."

Kay was on the trip with Linda and said: "Was it our place to get involved? Would we have made it worse?"

Linda replied: "You don't realise how bad you are; I just though, 'I'll be alright."

While not actually in Ibiza at the time, Janet said she was very concerned for Loose Women pal Linda, recalling: "I remember, I called you. I could see the signs; you'd come into the studio so anxious. You went into a self-spiral and I said to you 'Linda you must get professional help.'"

Revealing how she felt a burden to the people closed to her, while trying to overcome her struggles, Linda added: "I felt guilty. You lot were away for a jolly holiday and the my family...I ruined their Christmas that year."
