Kelle Bryan has revealed that she didn't wash her face mask for so long that it turned "rank".
The Hollyoaks star, 45, admitted that she completely forgot to wash it and it got so disgusting that she joked it had "started to hum".
On today's Loose Women the panel were discussing the YouGov poll results that said 85% of people aren't washing their masks enough, while 15% of us have never washed or changed our face masks.
As Andrea McLean read out the shocking statistics, Kelle looked down at her lap in embarrassment before she was forced to explain herself.
She said: "I'm so sorry but literally my mask was rank to the point where it was starting to hum.
"I put it on and I was like 'Argh!'"
Kelle, who has now washed her mask, explained that she started to see it like an accessory, rather than something she wore for her own safety.
She explained: "It was dreadful, absolutely dreadful so I absolutely hold my hands up.
"You just forget, it almost becomes like an accessory so just stick it on and go but it's not.
"It's supposed to protect you and keep you healthy but mine was absolutely rank and dreadful."
Kelle's admission shocked viewers, with one tweeting: "Why would you not wash your mask every time you use it! Gross!"
"OMG you HAVE to clean mask every bloody day as I do," another posted.
A third said: "Why would you think having a dirty mask is funny, just nasty?"
