Loose Women's Kaye Adams makes huge Strictly confession

Kaye Adams has shared a Strictly confession with Loose Women fans, two months after being booted out of the dancing competition.

Kaye briefly ditched the Loose Women panel for the glitz and glam of the ballroom earlier this year, where she was partnered with professional partner Kai Widdrington. Despite the pair being supported by anticipating fans, Kaye was the first celebrity to leave Strictly 2022.

During their first week together they delivered a tango followed by a high-energy charleston that saw Kaye spin, dip and flipped into the air, nailing the series' first high-risk stunts. After the judges' fairly harsh comments, she was sadly eliminated following a dance-off.

At the time, Kaye's fellow Loose Women stars said it was unfair and that she had been "robbed". Janet Street-Porter said: "I think it's really unfair. I sent her a text last night, I said 'you showed so much guts doing it'. I really think it shows guts."

Kaye, who has since described Strictly as a "mental, psychological battle", made another confession to Loose Women viewers on Friday. It came as the panelists were discussing their years, ahead of welcoming 2023 in on Sunday.

When asked what advice she would go back and give herself at the start of 2022 if she could, Kaye said: "I'd say 'Kaye, you can't dance, don't do it'." Denise Welch, Frankie Bridge and Kelly Holmes quickly refuted this, saying: "You can, you can dance".

Kaye added: "I'm still coming to terms with it, because what I told myself when I made the decision to do it was 'Kaye, you've got to get yourself out of your comfort zone', because you hear that's good for you, to get yourself out of your comfort zone.

"Now I think it's called a comfort zone for a reason. Maybe it was too far out of my comfort zone. I hoped it would create a new me, and it didn't".

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
