Loose Women's Kaye Adams and Coleen Nolan strip off to show before and after airbrushing

Kaye Adams and Coleen Nolan joined fellow Loose Women stars in stripping off for their confidence campaign to highlight before and after airbrushing in photographs.

The ITV panelists posed in swimwear for Body Stories, to show the impact of body tuning apps and raise awareness about altering and editing photos on social media.

Side-by-side snaps of the famous faces were presented for the world to see, impressing all their fans at home.

Loose Women has asked celebrities and fans alike to "keep it real", share unedited photographs and be honest while sharing edited snaps with everyone.

It's four years since their first campaign for body confidence made waves in the celebrity world in 2017.

Coleen Nolan looked incredible in a one-piece for the photoshoot and revealed it was ironic she felt "more insecure" in her younger days when she should have felt amazing.

The Loose Women star, who showed off her recent jaw-dropping weight loss, said: “When I look back to pictures of me a year ago where I was actually a lot slimmer, the irony is that that is probably when I was more insecure.

"In my younger days, when I should have felt amazing I was paranoid about being good enough.

"It's sad to think that when I should have been enjoying my prime I was less secure than I actually am now all these years and quite a few dress sizes later.

"I think it’s even worse for young people’s body image and confidence nowadays thanks to the pressure of social media.

“It’s really important to get the message out now that no one is, or ever can be, perfect.

"You have to learn to love the body you are in whether you’re tall, small, slim, full figured or whatever; the sexiest people are those who are full of confidence.

"Be a first-rate version of yourself, we only live once, it’s a shame to waste years of it wishing you could ‘look better’ as I guarantee you, one day you’ll look back at those old photos and wonder why on earth you were so tough on yourself, just like I did.”

Meanwhile, Kaye Adams opted for black and white striped swimsuit as she joined fellow Loose Women panelists Stacey Solomon and Denise Welch.

Linda Robson, Jane Moore, Kelle Bryan and Brenda Edwards also posed in plunging black costumes for the cameras.

New panellist Frankie Bridge wore a tiny bikini when she took centre stage for Body Stories on Loose Women.

* Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub
