Loose Women's Judi Love backs Prince Harry's 'need to be heard' over Netflix row

Comedian Judi Love has blasted the UK Government to 'wake up' ahead of proposed NHS strikes, shares her concern for Step A spreading and admits it's time Prince Harry had his voice.

Speaking in her Ok! Column after a week covering on BBC Radio 2 she had plenty to say on the latest topics to hit the headlines.

Addressing the prospect of ambulance staff going on strike on 21 December she branded the move 'quite scary' — especially so close to Christmas.

Siding firmly with NHS workers' who she says are 'overworked, understaffed and underpaid' and battling the 'cost of living crisis' to make every penny count.

She penned: "Without making a statement, changes can’t be made for future generations.

'Hopefully, it will cause the Government to wake up and take seriously the strain on the NHS so that the public don’t have to worry about further strikes."

Staying on the health front, Judi also admitted concern about the tragic cases of Step A.

As a parent, she admitted her own son had been poorly and expressed concern at the rise in cases.

She added: "My love and prayers go out to those families who have sadly lost their little ones to this horrible illness.

"This past week I’ve been looking after my poor son and it’s difficult, so I understand why other mothers are concerned about the news."

She urged concerned parents to educate themselves on the symptoms and to go straight to the doctor if they have any concerns.

In lighter news, Judi congratulated actress Keke Palmer who recently made the surprise announcement, while hosting Saturday Night Live, that she’s expecting her first child.

And staying in the US the Loose Women shared her thoughts on Harry & Meghan's new documentary saying it's time Harry had his voice heard.

The six-part documentary series explores the span of their relationship, from the early days of the couple’s courtship to the challenges and controversies that led them to feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.

But Judi says whatever your opinion on the couple, it's interesting to hear Harry's 'lived experience as a child' and urges anyone to question given his own upbringing what length you'd go to to protect your family.
