Loose Women star Jane Moore revealed live on air on that she has split from her husband Gary Farrow, after 20 years of marriage.

The panellist, 60, broke the news on Wednesday’s show as she shared that she and Farrow are still living together and are still planning to spend Christmas in the same household.

Moore made the announcement as she said that she and Farrow had been discussing a split last year, before he had a fall and broke his leg.

“I didn’t push him,” she joked, as she opened up about her ended marriage.

Moore said: “It’s weird that it’s out there, because we’ve been processing it for about a year.”

The host said the split was amicable and that her family have been aware of the separation for some time.

Moore continued: “Because I have been caring for him, in that sense of the word, its enabled us to sort of process it, first of all, and to sort of segue nicely into a really good friendship.”

Moore married Farrow in 2002 at Claridge’s Hotel in London. The lavish ceremony was attended by music legend Sir Elton John, who was Farrow’s best man, and fellow celebrity guests Barbara Windsor and Jonathan Ross.

The former couple live in Richmond and share three daughters Ellie, Grace and Lauren.

Farrow formerly worked as the VP of communications at Sony record label. He now owns a PR agency called The Corporation Group.

Moore remarked on the show that Farrow is her “best friend” still after their split.

She said: “I would hope he would say I’m his best friend.

“And I’m keen we don’t lose that element.”

After spending the holidays and New Year together, Moore shared that she and Farrow plan to sell their family home and purchase new properties separately.

“Our next chapter,” she added.

Moore previously recalled on Loose Women how Farrow’s rowdy behaviour got him arrested and put in a cell, just before their wedding.

She explained: “Basically, there was a fire alarm and he wouldn’t leave the hotel until he knew the kids were alright and they wouldn’t let him know where the kids were.

“Anyway, he got lairy.”

She revealed that Farrow was released the next morning, mere hours before their nuptials.
