Loose Women's Frankie Bridge flooded with support as she shares personal news

Frankie Bridge has been flooded with support and praise as she shared some personal news with her fans. The Loose Women star has revealed that she's putting her walking boots back on and is taking part in breast cancer charity CoppaFeel's latest money-raising trek.

In June, Frankie will be joining CoppaFeel patron and former I'm A Celebrity winner, Giovanna Fletcher, as they lead 120 trekkers to take on 100km of the world-famous Hadrian's Wall Country in a bid to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds towards the charity's life-saving mission.

Taking to Instagram, Frankie posed for a pouting selfie as she held up her walking boots and sported a CoppaFeel branded tee. "It's that time again. I’m getting ready to take part in this year's @coppafeelpeople country trek," the 34-year-old started the caption of her post.

She went on to explain: "I’m back as a team captain (must have done something right last time ha) and back alongside @mrsgifletcher to walk 100km over 5 days through Hadrians Wall Country, raising essential funding and awareness for breast cancer!"

And Frankie, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, shared why her involvement this year is even more poignant than ever before. "This year, it means even more, as my amazing Mum has just completed her treatment after her own breast cancer journey," she told.

"I’ve dusted off my boots and I’m ready for the challenge! If you’d like to donate to this amazing cause, I’ve added a link on my stories and in my bio… wish me luck!"

Giovanna, who is married to McFly star Tom Fletcher, was quick to respond, writing: "So excited to be waking with you again!!! A brilliant team captain!" Loose Women co-star Nadia Sawalha wrote: "You will smash it ! Love to you and your mum." This Morning's Lisa Snowdon posted heart emojis in the comments while former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley applauded Frankie with a string of clapping emojis.
